KY-038 Noise / Sound Sensor Threshold Module
This sensor is ideally suited for threshold value measurement. This means that the sensor emits a digital high signal as soon as a threshold value set by the user on the rotary potentiometer is exceeded. It should be noted here that the digital signal is a comparison of the value set on the rotary potentiometer and the measured value on the sensor, which are then compared by the LM393 comparator installed on the board. The set value of the rotary potentiometer is the threshold value, which is used to define a logical high signal.

Direct measured value of the sensor unit
LED1
Indicates that the sensor is supplied with voltage
LED2
Indicates that the sound level has exceeded the set threshold value
FUNCTIONALITY OF THE SENSOR
This sensor has two functional components on its circuit board: The front sensor unit, which physically measures the environment and outputs it as an analog signal to the second unit, the comparator. The comparator compares the measured value of the sensor with the value set on the rotary potentiometer and outputs a logical high signal on the digital pin and LED L1 if the value on the rotary potentiometer is exceeded.
Please note: The signal is inverted. If a high value is measured, this results in a lower voltage value at the analog output.

CODE EXAMPLE
The program reads the current voltage value, which can be measured at the analog output, and outputs it on the serial port. In addition, the status of the digital pin in the console is also indicated, which means whether the limit has been exceeded or not.

They are advertising the new Z Fold 8 ultra. We have the Z Fold 7, so we went there to check it out ans to buy a new mobile. I asked to see the phone because, in stores, they usually let you see and touch the phone before buying it. The guy replied in a really sarcastic way: “As I am the professional here, I can confirm that it is a good phone.” I was like: “What?” Then I showed him that I already had a Z Fold 7 in my hands. He replied: “So, you already know that it is a good phone.” Again, I was like: “What?” So I explained that I simply like to see and touch the phone before buying it. He just told me: “OK, go to a big store. We don’t have the phone here.” Well… not recommended. Even though I’m a big Samsung fan, I still want to check the phone for myself before buying it. It’s up to me. Expertise on something? ChatGPT also has expertise and will probably tell me much more than a sales guy.

Zero stars if I could. I purchased a fitness tracker from this store that failed to perform its most basic advertised functions. It would not reliably track steps, sleep, or heart-rate data, and the battery life was nowhere near what was claimed. When I returned to the store for assistance, I was told the device had been checked and was supposedly working correctly. However, the problems continued exactly as before. Despite the tracker clearly not functioning as expected, the store refused to offer a replacement or further assistance and instead told me to deal directly with the manufacturer. This is extremely disappointing customer service. When a product sold by a retailer appears to be defective, customers reasonably expect the retailer to help resolve the issue rather than simply pass responsibility elsewhere. The most frustrating part was not the faulty device itself, but the complete lack of support once the sale had been made. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend that others think carefully before purchasing electronics from this business, especially if after-sales support and customer service are important to them.
