Infrared LED and phototransistor
The module consists of an infrared LED that emits infrared radiation and a phototransistor that detects the reflected light from the line being tracked.
Resistance-based position detection

KY-033 SPECIFICATIONS
On the front side, this module has an infrared emitter/receiver, an adjustable potentiometer, a LM393 differential comparator, and an indicator LED. The back side has 4 resistors, two of which are 10 kΩ, one is 1.5 kΩ and the other one is 220 Ω.
The KY-033 has 3 pins: GND, OUT, and VCC. The output pin of the module is digital, its state is HIGH when the module is on top of a black surface, signaling that a line is detected. The state is LOW when the module is on top of a white surface, signaling that a line is not detected.
The indicator LED turns on when the infrared light is reflected back to the receiver, meaning that a line is not detected.

CONNECTION DIAGRAM
Connect the GND pin on the KY-033 to GND on the Arduino and the VCC pin to 5V. Then connect the OUT pin of the module (middle one) to pin 7 on the Arduino.
Keep in mind that some modules have a different pin configuration, always check your module before connecting it to the Arduino.

KY-033 ARDUINO CODE
In the following Arduino sketch, we’ll read the digital signal from the output pin of the KY-033 every 500 milliseconds, and use the serial interface to send messages to the computer.
The signal will be HIGH when the module is in front of an opaque (black) surface, indicating that a line has been detected. The signal will be LOW when the module is in front of a reflective (white) surface, meaning that a line is not detected.

They are advertising the new Z Fold 8 ultra. We have the Z Fold 7, so we went there to check it out ans to buy a new mobile. I asked to see the phone because, in stores, they usually let you see and touch the phone before buying it. The guy replied in a really sarcastic way: “As I am the professional here, I can confirm that it is a good phone.” I was like: “What?” Then I showed him that I already had a Z Fold 7 in my hands. He replied: “So, you already know that it is a good phone.” Again, I was like: “What?” So I explained that I simply like to see and touch the phone before buying it. He just told me: “OK, go to a big store. We don’t have the phone here.” Well… not recommended. Even though I’m a big Samsung fan, I still want to check the phone for myself before buying it. It’s up to me. Expertise on something? ChatGPT also has expertise and will probably tell me much more than a sales guy.

Zero stars if I could. I purchased a fitness tracker from this store that failed to perform its most basic advertised functions. It would not reliably track steps, sleep, or heart-rate data, and the battery life was nowhere near what was claimed. When I returned to the store for assistance, I was told the device had been checked and was supposedly working correctly. However, the problems continued exactly as before. Despite the tracker clearly not functioning as expected, the store refused to offer a replacement or further assistance and instead told me to deal directly with the manufacturer. This is extremely disappointing customer service. When a product sold by a retailer appears to be defective, customers reasonably expect the retailer to help resolve the issue rather than simply pass responsibility elsewhere. The most frustrating part was not the faulty device itself, but the complete lack of support once the sale had been made. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend that others think carefully before purchasing electronics from this business, especially if after-sales support and customer service are important to them.
